You can connect Unicommerce to Claude today using DataDrew's MCP server. Unicommerce has no official Claude integration or MCP server of its own as of July 2026, so DataDrew is currently the practical way to get your Unicommerce inventory, warehouse and marketplace order data into Claude. Setup takes a few minutes and the connection is read-only.
This post covers what that actually looks like: what syncs, what you can ask, how to set it up, and where the limits are.
- Unicommerce does not offer its own MCP server or Claude connector as of July 2026.
- DataDrew integrates with Unicommerce directly and exposes that data (plus Shopify, ads and email data) through one MCP server at
mcp.datadrew.io. - Once connected, you can ask Claude about channel-level sales, warehouse-wise stock, dead stock, returns and your marketplace vs D2C split in plain English.
- The connection is read-only. Claude can query your data but cannot change orders, inventory or campaigns.
- To our knowledge, no other analytics platform in India offers a Unicommerce integration.
What is Unicommerce?
Unicommerce is a publicly listed Indian SaaS company (NSE: UNIECOM) that handles the operational backend for omnichannel e-commerce brands: order management, warehouse management and inventory sync. If a brand sells on Shopify, Myntra, Flipkart and Amazon India from one shared inventory pool, Unicommerce is often the system keeping that pool honest. An order on one channel updates stock levels across all the others.
It is one of the largest players in this space in India. Unicommerce reports over 8,000 clients and 290+ platform integrations across marketplaces, storefronts and logistics providers (source: unicommerce.com, retrieved July 2026).
What Unicommerce is not: an analytics product or an AI product. It runs your operations. It does not answer questions about them. That gap is what this integration closes.
The gap: operational data you can't talk to
Unicommerce holds some of the most valuable data an omnichannel brand has. Which channel actually drives margin. Which warehouse is sitting on stock that doesn't move. How returns differ between Myntra and your own site.
Getting answers usually means exporting reports and building spreadsheets, or asking whoever on the team knows the panel best. Meanwhile, tools like Claude are very good at exactly this kind of question, if they can reach the data.
MCP (Model Context Protocol, the open standard introduced by Anthropic in 2024) is what lets AI assistants securely query external systems. Unicommerce hasn't shipped an MCP server, and our searches found no official or third-party Unicommerce MCP as of July 2026. DataDrew's MCP server fills that gap: DataDrew syncs your Unicommerce data, and its MCP server makes it queryable from Claude.
What does the DataDrew + Unicommerce + Claude stack do?
Three layers, one line each:
- Unicommerce runs your operations: orders, warehouses, inventory sync across channels.
- DataDrew syncs that data (sales orders, inventory levels, product catalogs, fulfillment status, returns, channel-wise performance) and adds analytics on top. Full feature detail is on the Unicommerce integration page.
- DataDrew MCP exposes it all to Claude, alongside your other connected sources: Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Klaviyo and more. Details on the MCP page.
The point isn't just Unicommerce-in-Claude. It's Unicommerce next to everything else. Your marketplace operations data and your D2C data in one conversation, so "compare Myntra to my Shopify store" is a single question, not a reconciliation project.
What can you ask Claude once it's connected?
Real examples of the shape of question this unlocks:
Inventory and warehouse
- "Which SKUs are below 10 units of sellable stock across all warehouses?"
- "Show me warehouse-wise stock for my top 20 SKUs by revenue."
Dead stock and cash flow
- "Which SKUs have had no sales on any channel in the last 60 days but still hold inventory? Estimate the cash tied up."
- "What should I mark down before end of season, based on sell-through rate?"
Dead stock questions pair naturally with repeat-purchase analysis: knowing which SKUs actually drive repeat purchases tells you what to reorder, and this tells you what to stop reordering.
Channel performance
- "Break down last month's revenue by channel: Myntra vs Flipkart vs Amazon vs my Shopify store."
- "What's my marketplace vs D2C revenue split this quarter, and how has it moved since last quarter?"
- "Which channel has the worst return rate, and for which product categories?"
Cross-source (the compound question)
- "My Meta Ads are pushing product X. Do we have enough stock across warehouses to support doubling that spend?"
That last one is the real unlock. Ad data, D2C sales and marketplace inventory in one answer, the same blended view we argue for in Marketing ROAS Decoded, extended to marketplace operations.
How do you set it up?
High-level flow. Budget a few minutes if your Unicommerce credentials are handy.
- Create a DataDrew account at datadrew.io. If you're on Shopify, install the DataDrew app so your store data connects too.
- Connect Unicommerce inside DataDrew using your Unicommerce API credentials (generated in your Unicommerce account panel; ask your Unicommerce account manager if you don't see them). Data syncs automatically from there, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Enable DataDrew MCP. In the DataDrew app, go to Settings, then Datadrew MCP, and copy the server URL:
https://mcp.datadrew.io/mcp. MCP access requires an Essentials or Pro plan. - Add it to Claude. In Claude (web or desktop), add the URL as a custom connector under connector settings and approve the OAuth prompt. Claude's own docs cover custom connectors if you get stuck.
- Ask a question. Start with something simple like "what were my sales by channel last week" to confirm the connection, then get ambitious.
The same MCP connection also works in ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP-compatible clients, but Claude is where we see merchants use it most.
What about EasyEcom or Vinculum?
DataDrew currently integrates Unicommerce only, not EasyEcom or Vinculum. When we evaluated the space in 2025, EasyEcom didn't offer open APIs we could build against; that may change. If you run one of these platforms and want your data in Claude, tell us. Integration priorities follow merchant demand.
FAQ
Does Unicommerce have an official Claude or MCP integration?
No. As of July 2026, Unicommerce offers no MCP server and no official Claude integration. DataDrew's MCP server is currently the way to query Unicommerce data from Claude.
What Unicommerce data can Claude access through DataDrew?
Whatever DataDrew syncs: sales orders, inventory levels across warehouses, product catalogs, fulfillment status, returns and cancellations, and channel-wise performance. Claude queries this synced data through the MCP server rather than hitting Unicommerce directly.
Can Claude change anything in my Unicommerce account?
No. The DataDrew MCP server is read-only. Claude can query your data but cannot modify orders, inventory, listings or anything else.
Do I need a Shopify store to use this?
DataDrew is built Shopify-first, and the integration is most powerful with a connected store, since Claude can then answer across marketplace and D2C data together. If you're marketplace-only on Unicommerce, write to us and we'll confirm the right setup for your stack.
Is this free?
DataDrew has a free tier, but MCP access requires an Essentials or Pro plan. Check datadrew.io for current pricing.
Does this work with ChatGPT or other AI tools?
Yes. The MCP server works with any MCP-compatible client, including ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code. This post focuses on Claude because MCP support there is mature and it's where most of our merchants run these queries.
Try it on your own data
If you run an omnichannel brand on Unicommerce, the fastest way to evaluate this is to connect your account and ask Claude one question you currently answer with a spreadsheet. Start at datadrew.io/integrations/unicommerce, or read more about how DataDrew MCP works.
